PPM VI Terms and Conditions

PartyPoker.com Million VI Promotion – Terms & Conditions
  1. You agree that by taking part in the EmpirePoker.com (the “Poker Website”) “PartyPoker Million VI Cruise” promotion (the “Promotion”), that you will be bound by these Terms and Conditions as well as our Terms and Conditions of Use (collectively the “Roles”).
  2. These Rules govern the Promotion Tournaments taking place between 1 September 2007 and 31 December 2007. You are advised that further tournaments will also take place from 01 January 2008, and which will enable you to win Cruise Packages.
  3. To be eligible to take part in the Promotion you must:
    1. 2.1 be eighteen (18) years of age or older
    2. 2.2 have successfully completed registration on the Gaming Service and opened a Real Money Player Account; and must
    3. 2.3 not be resident in a Restricted Territory
      (any player who meets this criteria shall be deemed a “Qualifying Player”)
  4. In order to open a “Real Money Player Account” players must register for a player account on the Gaming Service and deposit a minimum of twenty-five United States Dollars (US $25).
  5. Strictly no third party entries.
  6. The “Tournaments” shall collectively mean the PPM Weekly Satellite, the PPM Qualifier Speed Rebuy, the PPM Qualifier Speed, the PPM $3 Qualifier Rebuy, the PPM Satellite Qualifier, the PPM STT Qualifier Speed, the PPM STT Sub Qualifier Speed, the PPM STT Gateway Sub Qualifier, the PPM Gateway Qualifier and the PPM Monthly Finale.  
  7. The Tournaments are all a game of No-Limit Texas Hold’em.
  8. The “PPM Weekly Satellite” shall take place every Saturday at 15:25ET from 15 September 2007 until 29 December 2007 
    1. 7.1 Entry is strictly limited to five thousand (5,000)Qualifying Players allocated on a first come, first served basis and seats are strictly non  transferable. 
    2. 7.2 The buy-in for the tournament will be six hundred and forty United States Dollars (US $640.00).
    3. 7.3 For every twenty (20) Qualifying Players taking part in the PPM Weekly Satellite a Cruise Package will be awarded. Notwithstanding the foregoing a minimum of two (2) Cruise Packages will be awarded at the end of each PPM Weekly Satellite.
    4. 7.4 The Cruise Packages will be awarded to the top ranking Qualifying Players. By way of example only, if there are ten (10) Cruise Packages available, then these will be awarded to the Qualifying Players ranked one (1) to ten (10) in the PPM Weekly Satellite.
  9. The “PPM $1 Qualifier Speed Rebuy” shall take place daily at 05:25ET, 10:25ET, 14;25ET and 18:25ET and between 1 September 2007 and 31 December 2007.
    1. 8.1 Entry is strictly limited to five thousand (5,000)Qualifying Players allocated on a first come, first served basis and seats are strictly non-transferable.
    2. 8.2 The buy-in for the tournament will be one United States Dollar (US $1.00).
    3. 8.3 For every seventy United States Dollars (US $70.00) in the prize pool, one (1) seat in the next available PPM Satellite Qualifier (each a “PPM Satellite Qualifier Seat”) will be awarded. Notwithstanding the foregoing a minimum of four (4) PPM Satellite Seats will be awarded at the end of each PPM $1 Qualifier Speed Rebuy.
  10. The “PPM $8 Qualifier Speed” shall take place daily at 09:25ET, 13:25ET and 20:25ET between 1 September 2007 and 31 December 2007.
    1. 9.1 Entry is strictly limited to five thousand (5,000) Qualifying Players allocated on a first come, first served basis and seats are strictly non-transferable.
    2. 9.2 The buy-in for the tournament will be eight United States Dollar (US $8.00).
    3. 9.3 For every ten (10) Qualifying Players taking part in the PPM $8 Qualifier Speed a PPM Satellite Qualifier Seat will be awarded. Notwithstanding the foregoing a minimum of four (4) PPM Satellite Qualifier Seats will be awarded at the end of each PPM $8 Qualifier.
  11. The “PPM $3 Qualifier Rebuy” shall take place daily at 07:25ET, 11:25ET, 16:25ET and 22:25ET between 1 September 2007 and 31 December 2007.
    1. 10.1 Entry is strictly limited to five thousand (5,000) Qualifying Players allocated on a first come, first served basis and seats are strictly non-transferable.
    2. 10.2 The buy-in for the tournament will be three United States Dollar (US $3.00).
    3. 10.3 For every seventy United States Dollars (US $70.00) in the prize pool, one (1) PPM Satellite Qualifier Seat will be awarded. Notwithstanding the foregoing a minimum of five (5) PPM Satellite Qualifier Seats will be awarded at the end of each PPM $3 Qualifier Rebuy.
  12. The “PPM Satellite Qualifier” shall take place: (i) every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 15:25ET; and (ii) every Friday at 18:25ET between 1 September 2007 and 31 December 2007.
    1. 11.1 Entry is strictly limited to five thousand (5,000) Qualifying Players allocated on a first come, first served basis and seats are strictly non-transferable.
    2. 11.2 The buy-in for the tournament will be seventy United States Dollar (US $70.00).
    3. 11.3 For every ten (10) Qualifying Players taking part in the PPM Satellite Qualifier a seat in the next available PPM Monthly Satellite will be awarded (each a “PPM Monthly Satellite Seat”). Notwithstanding the foregoing a minimum of eight (8) PPM Monthly Satellite Seats will be awarded at the end of each PPM Satellite Qualifier.
  13. The “PPM STT Qualifier Speed” shall take place on a Sit-and-Go Basis between 1 September 2007 and 31 December 2007.
    1. 12.1 Entry is allocated on a first come, first served basis and seats are strictly non-transferable. Qualifying Players will be unable to register from the tournament once the tournament has commenced.
    2. 12.2 The buy-in for the tournament will be seventy United States Dollar (US $10.00).
    3. 12.3 The Qualifying Player ranked first (1st) in the tournament will be awarded a PPM Satellite Qualifier Seat.
    4. 12.4 The Qualifying Players ranked second (2nd) and third (3rd) in the tournament will be awarded entry into another PPM STT Qualifier Speed.
  14. The “PPM STT Sub-Qualifier Speed” shall take place on a Sit-and-Go Basis between 1 September 2007 and 31 December 2007.
    1. 13.1 Entry is allocated on a first come, first served basis and seats are strictly non-transferable. Qualifying Players will be unable to register from the tournament once the tournament has commenced.
    2. 13.2 The buy-in for the tournament will be three United States Dollar (US $3.00).
    3. 13.3 The Qualifying Player ranked first (1st) and second (2nd) in the tournament will be awarded entry into a PPM STT Qualifier Speed.
    4. 13.4 The Qualifying Players ranked third (3rd) and fourth (4th) in the tournament will be awarded entry into another PPM STT Sub-Qualifier Speed
  15. The “PPM STT Gateway Sub Qualifier” shall take place on a Sit-and-Go Basis between 15 October 2007 and 31 December 2007.
    1. 14.1 Entry is strictly limited to ten (10) Qualifying Players allocated on a first come, first served basis and seats are strictly non-transferable. Qualifying Players will be unable to register from the tournament once the tournament has commenced.
    2. 14.2 The buy-in for the tournament will be fourteen United States Dollar (US $14.00).
    3. 14.3 For every ten (10) Qualifying Players taking part in the PPM STT Gateway Sub Qualifier a seat in the next available PPM Gateway Qualifier will be awarded.
  16. The “PPM Gateway Qualifier” shall take place every Saturday at 14:35ET between 15 October 2007 and 31 December 2007. 
    1. 15.1 Entry is strictly limited to five thousand (5,000) Qualifying Players allocated on a first come, first served basis and seats are strictly non-transferable.
    2. 15.2 The buy-in for the tournament will be one hundred and thirty-five United States Dollar (US $135.00).
    3. 15.3 For every ten (10) Qualifying Players taking part in the PPM STT Gateway Qualifier a seat in the next available PPM Monthly Finale Qualifier will be awarded
  17. The “PPM Monthly Finale” shall take place on the last Sunday of October 2007, November 2007 and December 2007 at 14:35ET.
    1. 16.1 Entry is strictly limited to five thousand (5,000) Qualifying Players allocated on a first come, first served basis and seats are strictly non-transferable.
    2. 16.2 The buy-in for the tournament will be one thousand two hundred and fifty United States Dollar (US $1,250.00).
    3. 16.3 For every ten (10) Qualifying Players taking part in the PPM Monthly Finale a Cruise Package will be awarded.
  18. “Seat-and-Go Basis” means where any tournament is run on this basis, the tournament will start as soon as the required number of Qualifying Players have registered for that tournament. Qualifying Players will be “blinded” / “anted” off the table if they are not present when the tournament starts.  
  19. A “Cruise Package” shall include accommodation for the duration of the cruise (the “Cruise”) and the buy-in for the PartyPoker Million VI Tournament (the “Main Event”) worth eight thousand, two hundred United States Dollars (US $8,200), Spending Money and Accommodation Expenses
  20. You may only win a maximum of one (1) Cruise Package.
  21. “Spending Money” means the sum of one thousand, one hundred United States Dollars (US $1,100) which will be paid into Qualifying Player’s Real Money Player Account on or before 31 March 2008.
  22. “Accommodation Expenses” means the sum of two thousand, seven hundred United States Dollars (US $2,700) which will be paid into Qualifying Player’s Real Money Player Accounts on or before 31 March 2008. For the avoidance of doubt Accommodation Expenses are a contribution towards your accommodation and you are responsible for arranging and paying for any additional accommodation that may be required when not actually on the Cruise.
  23. The Cruise will take place between 3 May 2008 and 10 May 2008, and will sail from Venice, Italy (the “Embarkation Point”) calling at Bari, Italy; Olympia/Katakolon; Greece, Izmir, Turkey; and Dubrovnik, Croatia. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have any necessary passports, documentation and visas as are necessary to enable you to join the Cruise.
  24. You are responsible for arranging and paying for any travel arrangements yourself and paying any additional sums as may be required, including by way of example only, travel and transfer costs from your place of residence to the Embarkation Point, travel insurance and other incidental expenses.
  25. Winners of the Cruise Package may be required to wear branded clothing for the duration of the Main Event.
  26. In the event that a winner of a Cruise Package does not reply to us within forty-eight (48) hours of us having contacted them regarding their Cruise Package, we reserve the right to offer the Cruise Package to the next applicable runner up.
  27. Valid photo identification and proof of age will be required to claim the Cruise Package. Any winner whose documentation does not adhere or conform to these requirements, or who it is discovered is not a Qualifying Player, will not be able to take up their Cruise Package.
  28. Winners must accept the Cruise Package as-is. We reserve the right to replace each Cruise Package with one of similar or greater value. Winners may not sell or transfer their Cruise Package to any third party and no cash alternative is available.
  29. Winners are responsible for the payment of any applicable tax on any prize or Cruise Package won.
  30. If a non-Qualifying Player takes part in the Promotion we reserve, without prejudice to any other rights under the Roles, to seek the return of any prize or Cruise Package from that player’s Real Money Player Account.
  31. By participating in the Promotion and its Tournaments you agree to sign if asked, a release form allowing PartyGaming plc or it Group to use your name, photograph and relevant personal information for all advertising and publicity purposes throughout the world in all media now known or hereinafter invented, without further compensation.
  32. Officers, directors, employees, consultants or agents of PartyGaming plc or its group or one of its subsidiary, parent or associated companies (its “Group”), or supplies or vendors (including their advertising, printing and publicity agencies) are not permitted to open a Real Money Player Account (each an “Unauthorised Person”). Relatives of Unauthorised Persons are also not permitted to open a Real Money Player Account. For the purposes of the Roles the term “Relative” shall include, but not be limited to, a spouse, partner, child or sibling or an Unauthorised Person. For the avoidance of doubt Unauthorised Persons and Relative cannot be Qualifying Players.
  33. We reserve the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of this Promotion or the Tournaments, or acts in a disruptive manner or breaches the Roles.
  34. PartyGaming plc and its Group may use the information that you provide during the Real Money Player Account registration process to provide you with information about our other products and services. You must inform us if you do not wish to receive such information by emailing privacy@empirepoker.com.
  35. We reserve the right to alter, amend or terminate this Promotion or any of the Tournaments, or any aspects of them, at any time and without prior notice. We may make changes to these Terms and Conditions and the Roles and will notify you of these changes by posting the modified terms on this page. We recommend you revisit these Terms and Conditions regularly. By your continued participation in the Promotion and/or Tournament you acknowledge your acceptance of any such changes.
  36. Any dispute or situation not covered by these Terms and Conditions and the Roles will be resolved by our management in a manner it deems to be the fairest to all concerned, and that decision shall be final and/or binding on all entrants.
  37. If the Promotion and/or Tournament can not be executed as planned, including any problems or technical malfunction beyond our control, then we shall incur no liability and no Cruise Package or other prize will be awarded.
  38. The “Gaming Service” means any gaming website forming part of the gaming services offered by PartyGaming and including PartyPoker.com, PartyBingo.com, PartyBets.com, PartyCasino.com, PartyGammon.com, EmpirePoker.com and/or such other website as we may offer from time-to-time.
  39. If the Roles are translated into a language other than English, then the English version of the Roles shall prevail where there is an inconsistency.
  1. “Restricted Territory” means the following countries: Afghanistan, Albania, American Samoa, Angola, Anguilla, Antarctica, Bahamas, Bahrain, Benin, Bermuda, British Indian Ocean Territories, Brunei Darussalam, Bolivia, Bouvet Island, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, China, Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Cook Island, Comoros, Republic of Congo, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaire), Djibouti, Dominica, East Timor, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Falkland Islands, Fiji, France and its overseas regions (Reunion Island, Martinique and Guadeloupe), French Guiana, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guam, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, Heard And Mc Donald Islands, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Kiribati, Kuwait Kyrgyzstan, Lao Peoples Democratic Republic, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Macedonia, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Marshall Islands, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mayotte, Micronesia, Monaco, Mongolia, Montserrat, Morocco, Mozambique, Myanmar (Burma), Nauru, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Niue, Norfolk Island, North Korea, Northern Mariana Islands, Pakistan, Palau, Palestinian Territory, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn, Qatar, Oman, Puerto Rico, Rwanda, Saint Kitts And Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent And The Grenadin, Samoa, San Marino, Sao Tome And Principe, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Georgia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, St Helena, St Pierre and Miquelon, Sudan, Suriname, Svalbard And Jan Mayen Islands, Swaziland, Syria, Tajikistan, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Tokelau, Tonga, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uzbekistan, United Arab Emirates, Uganda, United States of America, Vanuatu, Vatican City State, Virgin Islands (British), Virgin Islands (US), Wallis And Futuna Islands, Western Sahara, Yemen, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
